Located to the south and east of the Gold Mountains.

ARULE’N (Capital)
Built at the mouth of the Re’n River, Arule’n is the religious center of the Eldritch Forest.

Places of Interest:
Temple of Ehlonna – Built along the bank of the Re’n River, the Temple consists of a small building in a large garden. The trees of the garden are sacred, some over 1000 years old.
Temple of Guinnar, Snake-Slayer – An ancestral hero of the elves of the Eldritch Forest; he is considered an avatar of Corellon.
Halfling Village – The Eldritch Forest has a substantial Halfling population (about 12% of the sentient denizens). Though the Halflings are nomadic, the bulk of their population (as many as 12,000) stays together and relocates as a group, several times a year. The village often settles near the outskirts of both Arule’n and the Glen.

The Lordly Elders (NG) – the highest court in the Eldritch Forest. Any elf aged at least 500 is eligible to be an elder – many come to Arule’n from the corners of the Forest to join when they become of age. Their members currently number around 400.

GLEN OF THE SNAKE
The city gets its name from the navel-shaped grassy hill that encloses it. Legend has it that the primordial mother snake, miles long, dug the earth in a bowl shape to hold her first clutch.
